The Line Drawn is a series developed in Processing in five visual and interactive variations of a simple drawing tool. Through different behaviour principles, the act of moving the mouse and trace lines in the screen results in magical responses.The works build movement studies, color and dynamics of the trace explore the power of code as a picture tool, and versatility of Processing as a development environment.
David Lu is a software developer and interactive designer. He has gone through centers as the Interaction Institute of Ivrea and agencies and companies as Pentagram, Futurefarmers, IDEO or FROG Design.
