OFFF 2012 official app by Somewhat!

This year’s official OFFF app is being created by mobile-first agency Somewhat, who specialize in mobile strategy, creative and production. Also they will be speaking about their work and the app development and design process at Roots!

The app will include a a smart agenda, so everyone at the event can tag talks at OFFF that they want to see, identifying for the app what each individual’s interests are. If you have a spare slot that you haven’t filled yet, the smart agenda will suggest to you a talk that you might like based on events that you’ve tagged. You can also link your agenda with new people you meet at OFFF, so your agenda can suggest talks that your new friends are going to as well.

There’ll also be a live dashboard so that during talks, you can get a custom twitter feed for that specific talk, take notes and ask questions to the speaker. To support networking, you can bump phones with new contacts to instantly. We hope the OFFF app is the most personal, intuitive and useful event app you’ve used yet and helps you get even more out of the event.

Somewhat was founded in 2011 with the aim of defining a new mobile approach for brands, which we call Mobile_first™. Joined by Production Partner Mark Wright and Creative Technologist Cas Lemmens, we bring a creative, intelligent approach to brands and businesses that want to be mobile, but aren’t sure how or why.
